Product Overview
The PURE DRIVE OCTO is an advanced audio interface that incorporates the acclaimed SuperAnalogue PureDrive™ microphone preamp technology from Solid State Logic's ORIGIN console. This 8-channel 2U rackmount unit introduces a new DRIVE mode and expanded connectivity options. The PureDrive™ technology, known for its versatility, allows users to switch between a pristine PURE mode and a character-rich DRIVE mode that varies with gain, making it a studio favorite for capturing a wide range of sounds.
Notable features include independently switchable DRIVE modes for each of the eight mic preamps, clean and harmonically rich, and a lack of electro-mechanical components in the audio path for channel matching precision. It offers diverse input impedance settings, +48V phantom power, polarity inversion, and a High Pass Filter on each channel. With advanced analog and digital I/O options, including an integrated USB sound card, AES/EBU, ADAT, and word clock support, PURE DRIVE OCTO caters to both professional studios and project setups, delivering unmatched flexibility and exceptional sound quality in a compact form.
