Neumann's V 402 dual channel microphone preamplifier is state-of-the-art. Integrated is a studio grade headphone amplifier with a high-class headphone output and DI inputs designed for sonic purity. The transformerless circuitry design, for maximum transparency and sonic purity, unveils the true character of voices and instruments making it the perfect complement to any and all Neumann microphones. Amplification without coloration or sonic artifacts is ensured by the V 402's sophisticated circuitry and very high input impedance. The carefully designed high pass function removes pops and rumble without signal degradation. Plus a switchable 20 dB pad allows the V 402 to be used with high level sources up to 28 dBu without distortion.
