The DJM-A9 is a next-generation club mixer created using extensive development of existing technology, as well as brand-new components. Its channel input section is equipped with an ESS Technology 32-bit high-quality A/D converter, providing crystal-clear, high-resolution sound. Additionally, the master and booth output sections employ 32-bit high-quality D/A converters from the same brand, ensuring the sound from the booth monitors mirrors everything the crowd hears on the dancefloor. Furthermore, the microphone input and headphone outputs have undergone design optimization and feature carefully selected parts to improve their sound quality.

The mixer features increased spacing around the EQ knobs, providing ample room for users to manipulate the controls with ease. The high-grade LEDs in the channel section offer excellent visual cues for sound levels. The DJM-A9's phantom powered input enables users to connect a high-quality condenser mic directly to the mixer, a feature never before seen on a DJ mixer. Three new microphone effects (Echo, Pitch, Megaphone) can change the sound of the user's voice and hype up the crowd with their vocals. It's easy to turn the mic input on or off with the brand-new Push-To-Talk button when users want to address the audience. Additionally, the audio from the mic can be excluded from the recording output, enabling users to MC for the live crowd while recording their mix without vocals.

With dual USB Type-B and USB Type-C ports, you can easily connect two different PC/Mac systems for smooth transitions between DJs and effortless back-to-back sets. The mixer also supports wireless audio track dropping from Bluetooth-enabled devices, enabling DJs to utilize all of its features and effects to enhance the quality of their performance.
