Product Overview

The Digiface AES is the perfect all-in-one solution for professional recording and playback of digital and analog sources. With 14 inputs, 16 outputs, two Mic/Line universal analog input channels, 4 analog output channels (2 XLR, one TRS phone), SteadyClock FS, and built-in parametric EQ it provides a comprehensive set of features to meet the needs of any studio. The mic/line preamps in an XLR combo configuration feature a gain range of 75 dB with individually switchable 48V phantom power to capture everything from a whisper to a scream. Two balanced analog monitor outputs and one headphone output with enough dedicated power to drive any set of headphones provide monitoring capabilities.

Digital connectivity includes an AES/EBU input & output via XLR plus SPDIF coax, SPDIF optical, and 8-channel ADAT. All I/Os can be used simultaneously, making the Digiface AES a digital swiss army knife that receives and sends all standard digital audio formats. An integrated SRC (Sample Rate Converter) allows you to adapt to other sample rates while MIDI I/O adds even more flexibility. TotalMix FX offers fully independent routing and mixing of input & playback channels to all physical outputs and independent stereo sub-mixes. The control room section features unrivaled monitoring capabilities with unsurpassed routing flexibility and it's controllable remotely via iOS, PC, or Mac (sold separately) using TotalMix Remote. All these features make the Digiface AES an essential addition to any studio setup!
