Tone drain is not. The Pitchblack X provides all the essential features and offers a solution for tone drain. Ultra Buffer. If you're using cables over 18 feet or a complex pedal board, Pitchblack's Ultra Buffer boosts your signal to compensate for the frequency loss that occurs as your signal encounters more and more cable. When the Buffer is engaged it's active even when the pedal is not, so all you ever hear is your tone! Of course, options are also essential, so Korg included a true bypass mode if that's your preference.
