When you're out and about you want to be aware of your surroundings, so Yamaha designed an ambient sound mode to let the outside world in, even when you're listening to music. Integrated Listening Care intelligently adjusts the EQ to match your listening level. The adjustment makes up for perceived frequency imbalances that occur as you lower the volume (Fletcher-Munson curve). Listening Care allows you to listen at lower levels while enjoying a full-range experience and protecting your only pair of ears. Wearability is built into the TW-E5Bs with an ergonomically curved housing that conforms to your ear for a proper seal, secure hold, and all-day listening comfort. And since the E5Bs are IPX5 water resistance rated and boast up to 30 hours of run time, they're ideal for sports and other outdoor activities.
