Using the ARA extension you can now salvage imperfect audio from the perfect performance by removing unwanted background noise with surgical accuracy. When you're comping lavalier-captured dialog clips and boom mic reference clips, you can easily sync them without the common phase problems normally encountered, thanks to enhanced Audio Alignment and Auto Align Post integration. Combine dialog detection and alignment with Nuendo 12's powerful ADR system, and you'll be producing broadcast-ready content efficiently, on time, and on budget.

Nuendo 12 is looking towards the future with full immersive audio support. The Dolby Atmos Setup Assistant will take you from a channel-based session to a Dolby Atmos mix configuration automatically using the integrated Dolby Atmos rendering engine. You can also bask in the full immersive experience with headphones using HRTF filters and Headphones Match. A neutral frequency response is critical in transferring the intended spatial experience to headphones. So Steinberg included the Headphones Match to adjust the EQ curve of your phones for the correct response referencing a catalog of 387 various headphone models. You can even emulate the sound of other pairs of headphones.

Of course, Nuendo 12 is loaded with Steinberg's signature audio tools for sound design and music creation. Full MIDI support, including MIDI remote and API, means you can bring all of your controllers to the creative party. Tempo track import is supported allowing seamless content sharing between projects. The Verve virtual piano is also included so you can lay down ideas or create the perfect atmosphere for the stories you tell.
