The R5-C's compact 1.7 lb body belies its enormous heart and soul. A 45 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor yields stunning still image quality and returns equally impressive 8K/60P RAW Cinematic footage with ease. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II capability allows the camera to track the most elusive of subjects. Using integrated Animal Detection, you can track the body, face, or eyes of cats, dogs, birds, and other animals. Plus, you'll never miss another exhilarating in-motion car or motorcycle shot, thanks to Canon's still-image vehicle subject detection. And you can get those shots whenever the opportunity arises because the R5-C's moisture and dust resistance lets you focus on the creation.
When you're ready to shoot video footage, flip the switch and let the Cinema EOS menu system and interface guide you on your journey. High-level video features such as waveform monitors, video codec options, and extensive audio controls become available, making the experienced camera operator or content creator feel right at home. Record up to 8K/60P Cinema RAW Light without the need for an external recorder, while the internal cooling fan enables non-stop recording so you won't miss anything. And if you have multiple delivery format requirements, the EOS-R5-C supports simultaneous recording of two independent video files at different resolutions to speed up your workflow.
