Product Overview
The NMX-ENC-N2412A-C is a JPEG 2000 4K60 4:4:4 & HDR Video Over IP encoder card that delivers cinema-quality video with less than single frame latency. When paired with The N2422A decoder (sold separately), you can distribute cinema-grade 4K video over existing network cabling. The NMX-ENC-N2412A-C supports HDCP 2.2 protection and HDR (High Dynamic Range), allowing you to reap the full benefits of 4K@60 program material on all compatible display devices.
The NMX-ENC-N2412A-C includes HDMI and VGA in ports for added flexibility as well as stereo analog audio inputs on phoenix connectors with AES67 audio support. A pass-through HDMI port allows for output verification using a local display. The NMX-ENC-N2412A-C also supports PoE on one of its two RJ45 network ports, eliminating the need for an external power supply. A separate SFP port allows visually lossless video to be routed on a fiber-only network to extend signals beyond the reach of category cable. Plus, added USB connectivity enables users to extend USB over IP for touch-enabled and KVM applications. Designed for use with the six-slot NMX-ACC-N9206 2U rack mount cage, the card can also be powered via the rack cage.
Security is serious, so AMX included enterprise security features like Active Directory integration and 802.1X support to ensure only qualified personnel have access to content. Plus, each unit has two auto-sensing gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which supplies PoE (Power over Ethernet) making it easy to stack units in a matrix without the need to run multiple power cables.
