IK's iRig Pre 2 mic interface for iPhone, iPad, Android, or DSLR camera lets you use your favorite XLR mics to perform, record, and stream. The smallest, most impressive sounding mobile mic pre you can get, the iRig Pre 2 is compatible with both dynamic and condenser mics thanks to switchable 48V phantom power that can be used for over 6 hours continuously. And the dedicated front-end gain control helps ensure distortion-free input.

You can monitor the output directly via the integrated 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone output with volume control. A must for live streaming, and a time saver when setting up with a DSLR. Designed for in-the-field use, the iRig Pre 2 is powered by 2 AA batteries with an approximate 20 run time when not using phantom power.
