The SSL Ultraviolet stereo EQ is a 500 series version of the acclaimed minimum phase-shift EQ from their Fusion processor. And it wouldn't be SSL if they didn't sweeten the deal a little so they added two dedicated midrange bands with the unique focus control, giving you even more flexibility.

Ultraviolet gives you the legendary SSL musical EQ profile plus the surgical capabilities you need to fix problem frequencies. In addition to the Fusion high and low shelving bands, Ultraviolet provides two fully parametric mid-bands so you can choose the center frequency to be affected. Q controls allow you to determine how many bands on either side of your center frequency are adjusted. Set it wide for musical applications and narrow for more precise targeted use. You can get even more focus with the switchable focus control and then adjust the output as needed with the trim knob. Plus, there's a frequency selectable high-pass filter for added control.
