With its 31-inch spherical design and broad 270° beam angle, the Lantern 80 Softbox is ideal for overhead use or for raising the ambient illumination level to fill your set with soft, even light. A light control skirt set is included that can be quickly attached to control the beam spread and can be rolled up or down to flag off unwanted light.

Created to be compatible with Nanlite’s Forza Series LEDs, the Lantern 80 includes a Bowens style speed ring. The near-universal Bowens mount expands the compatibility to a wide range of LED, strobe, and constant lights. Also included is an easy-up speed ring with spring-loaded rod locks. Quickly snap the rods into place to set up the Lantern 80 and release them at the touch of a button for break down.
