Pianoteq Karsten 5 historical instruments 1600s to 1858s [Virtual]

The Karsten collection from Pianoteq features physically modeled versions of five classic instruments from the personal collection of Peter Karsten. Included are the NY Steinway square piano (1858), J. Weims pinoforte (1780), Ph. Schmidt square piano (1780), G. Giusti harpsichord (1680), and the J. Salodiensis virginal (1600).

Peter Karsten actively participated during the development of the models, from the initial recordings for the audio analysis until the final stages of the beta tests. These models are stunning recreations of these five unique instruments.

An "Original" preset delivers the sound of each instrument in its current state, while other presets attempt to reproduce the sound of the instruments when they were brand new. This instrument pack is compatible with all versions of Pianoteq. However, depending on the Pianoteq version you use, you'll have varying degrees of modification available to you.

Requires Pianoteq version 6.7 or higher as of 2-7-21.
