Blackmagic's CONVBDC is the world's smallest bidirectional broadcast quality SDI/HDMI converter. Don't be fooled by the diminutive footprint, the CONVBDC is housed in a rugged metal enclosure, making it perfect for the day to day demands of in the field use.

While the Micro Converter is compatible with any SDI/HDMI gear, thanks to standard SDI/HDMI connectors, it pairs especially well with Blackmagic's Pocket Cinema Cameras and ATEM SDI switcher. This combination allows camera control over SDI so you can control the camera's color corrector, tally, and even remote recording!

Other professional features include HDMI timecode support for converting your timecode to SDI along with SDI re-clocking for more stable timecode output. This allows you to convert your timecode to SDI with a rock-solid output that facilitates long cable runs, ensuring better integration with large broadcast systems. The CONVBDC is also fully compatible with SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 296M, SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 425M level A and B, broadcast standards.

A +5V power supply with international adapters is included but power can also be supplied via USB, smartphone charger, or rechargeable battery packs. With the demands of today's production, it's nice to know you're covered even if you misplace the power supply.
