The WA-87 R2 (Revision 2) is an updated and upgraded evolution of Warm Audio’s groundbreaking WA-87 that was introduced in 2016 as an affordable mic with vintage looks and sonics. Warm Audio applied everything they have learned about recreating vintage microphones since that 2016 release to create the new WA-87 R2.

The new mic still features the sound, feel, and performance of the original 60s classic circuitry and has many improvements that offer a stronger body, better frequency response and slightly increased output – all without raising the price.
