Do not let the low price keep you from trying the EM-91C. This thing is amazing and, with a little EQ, can sound close to the AKG C414 (especially when used with good reflection filter). Yes, without EQ, it's a little dark because of the top end frequency roll-off...but that means no sibilance! Is it in the league of the TLM 103? Of course not, and it's not meant to be. But you just might find yourself leaving it up in the studio as your "go-to" mic. Mackie came up with a winner in this one!

Put this mic on my 4x12 Bugera half stack. Sounds great! I'm sure it'd perform just as well on vocals, acoustic instruments, and drums. Just seems like an all around great mic. No complaints here.
