Prefer tracking straight to your computer? Onboard USB allows direct input to a wide range of standard DAWs (digital audio workstations) for recording and playback. Plus, Model-12 provides control of basic DAW functions like transport, solo, pan, mute, level control, and more, directly from its surface creating a true console workflow.
Six Tascam low noise HD preamps with a wide dynamic range, accurately capture the sonic characteristic of the input. Speaking of inputs, the back panel features 8 balanced XLR/TRS combination jacks for microphones, keyboards, drum machines, etc.... with +48V phantom power provided for condenser mics. All 8 channels are also Hi-Z capable so you can plug in a guitar directly to record clean tones or model it in your DAW. Two additional balanced line inputs are provided on channels 9/10, while two inserts on channels 1/2 beg you to hook up your vintage tube mic pre and compressor to sweeten those tracks!
