Yamaha Nathan East Signature Bass 5-String Electric Bass with Ebony Fingerboard

Designed with renowned bassist Nathan East, the BBNE2 signature five-string excels tone and power for every style from jazz to pop. Playing with big names like Eric Clapton and Phil Collins, Nathan East inspired this bass featuring neck through construction, two-octave neck built of maple and mahogany, ebony fingerboard inlaid with abalone, and stylish Mother-of-Pearl tuners. The BB maple and alder body is contoured front and back to deliver fat sound and definition. The low-profile BPZ-7 bridge features an elegant look and individual machined saddles for exact intonation. Running through Yamaha's own 5-control active electronics are stacked Alnico humbuckers, including a special equilizer circuitry based on the "Magic Box" from Nathan East.
