S21 Digital Audio Console

The S21 from DiGiCo highlights their innovative audio console design approach. Implementing newer, lower-costing FPGA components programmed with the same audio algorithms as their renowned SD9, in concert with a newer type of control processor, DiGiCo is now capable of incorporating their fundamental technological of quality and road-worthy design values at the S21's core. Running in harmony with the FPGA core is a newly-designed ARM QuadCore RISC processor. It's an efficient tool that delivers faster processing with lower power consumption, and combined with the audio core, has enabled the development of this cost-effective console that's worthy of carrying the DiGiCo brand to existing—as well as new—owners and users.

D2-Rack Stagebox Input/Output unit

Part of DiGiCo's range of high sample rate racks, the D2 Rack is a compact 9U D2 rack that has a fixed-format 48 inputs along with 16 outputs fitted as standard. Its output count can be doubled to 32 by simply populating the 2 spare 8-channel output slots with one or more of the 3 available option modules – Line out, AES out or Aviom out (uses both slots - all sold separately).

Its 48 inputs can be specified as either 48 mic in or 24 mic/24 AES in.

It includes 2 MADI Ports, available either as DiGiCo CAT5E connections that are available on the SD9 and SD11. These ports enable rack-sharing at 48 K between any two SD Series consoles (sold separately) or digital splits for recording. When operating at 96 K, these two ports combine to create a single high-definition 96 K MADI connection with no reduction in I/O. Additionally, it features dual redundant power supplies as standard with LED monitoring indicators on the device's front panel. Also, the SD Rack style menu system allows for customized rack settings as well as the control and activation of the D2 Rack’s internal oscillator.
