This program equalizer from Apogee - the EQP-1A - is the result of Apogee's pursuit to reproduce every nuance of the Pultec Program Equalizer. And Apogee has partnered with Steve Jackson of Pulse Techniques, the current manufacturer of new Pultec hardware. Following careful analysis of several vintage and new Pultec EQP-1A units, Apogee chose to model their plugin after one of Steve Jackson’s new units – you might say it was like unboxing a brand new unit in 1959.
