The Genelec 4040A active loudspeaker contains power amplifiers, drivers, protection circuitry, and active crossover filters in an integrated design. The advanced Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) delivers outstanding frequency balance in challenging acoustic settings. Combined with the Genelec Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™) which is made of die-cast aluminium and shaped to reduce edge diffraction, the system provides excellent audio quality. It features Genelec Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™) circuitry which switches the loudspeaker to standby when no audio input is detected (ErP 2013 Directive). The 4040A is the ideal indoor solution for large theaters, restaurants, conference rooms, museums, art galleries, sport centers and more.
